Edinburgh International Film Festival 2014

Every year in Edinburgh there are a magical two weeks in June where the city’s cinemas become crammed full of any and every type of film you can conceive of coming from all over the world. Writing for film websites makes me eligible for a press pass each year, meaning that I see all these wonderful movies for free, so long as I write things about them. Things like this:

"There a good film to be made from The Anomaly’s central concept. Unfortunately, The Anomaly is not it."

"While listening to cultural icons espouse their opinions is interesting, the film itself is a little directionless."
